Located inside the newly renovated D Casino Hotel, the elaborately designed Andiamo Italian Steakhouse incorporates old-world architectural elements with a sophisticated materials and color palette, while maintaining a sense of the brand’s strong Detroit roots to this restaurant interior design concept.

Harvest by Roy Ellamar is the Bellagio’s new culinary destination. For this farm-to-table restaurant, Gensler’s interior design concept centers on three elements: social interaction, craft, and comfort.
The community-driven experience begins with the open lounge at the front of the restaurant, where a layered wool wall extends to the public promenade, breaking down existing barriers. The lounge features an expanded mixologist bar and tables seating beneath hand-blown glass lighting fixtures providing a perfect bar decor ideas to inspire and enhance.

This Miami transplant fills a massive space within the former Union Trust Bank building in the heart of the nation’s capital. The restaurant interior design concept plays off the building’s classical features—cornices, moldings, and multi-storied arched windows—enhancing and elevating them to create a dramatic space for a dining experience and for spectacle.
The voluminous main dining room features warm woods, sophisticated leather bar chairs, elegant wrought-iron chandeliers, and towering marble columns. Semi-private corner booths and a variety of alluring private-dining areas are also offered, along with three bars. Le Méridien Chicago, Oakbrook Center-Oak Brook, Illinois
This previously unoccupied hotel has been transformed into a contemporary restaurant interior design concept, upscale property reflective of Le Méridien’s European flair. Outside, the two-dimensional surface of the building’s skin creates a three-dimensional volume that appears to be woven into an abstracted plaid, a nod to the area’s retail adjacencies.
The new lobby is light and elegant, with Bauhaus-inspired design features, modernist furnishings and artwork by local artists. Exuding the quality for which Le Méridien is known, the hotel features 172 guestrooms, two spa suites, a ballroom, lounge, and restaurant.
Marriot Bloom Central – Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
The Abu Dhabi Marriott Hotel, part of the mixed-use Bloom Central development, is designed to inspire and energize. The contemporary and stylish interior design concept blends the latest in residential design with bold color, dramatic lighting and the embrace of true comfort. Subtle references to Abu Dhabi’s artisanal culture are presented through the incorporation of screens, natural materials, patterns and color palettes.
With three thematically-inspired restaurants, the gathering and meeting spaces are the hotel highlights and include a book-filled library nook, an informal coffee bar, meeting rooms, conference center, ballrooms, rooftop pool, and lobby lounge. BH Kitchen & Bar: Brand Design – New York, New York
Family owned and operated in New York City since 1943, BH Kitchen & Bar enlisted Gensler design firm to redesign and rebrand their restaurant to attract a new generation of clientele.
Beginning with the renaming and refresh of the restaurant’s identity, Gensler utilized strategic brand interventions to enliven the space with playful character. Quotes emblazoned throughout the interior in neon lighting, white vinyl, and blackened steel reflect BH’s personality: “Savor the moment,” “I’m aware that I’m rare,” and more.
Graffiti art by a local artist adorns the rear wall, and custom 3D-printed “burger people” figurines dot the dining, takeout, and restroom areas. As a final touch, the team designed a complete suite of updated menus and print collateral.
