Andiamo Steakhouse at The D Casino Hotel- Las Vegas, Nevada

Located inside the newly renovated D Casino Hotel, the elaborately designed Andiamo Italian Steakhouse incorporates old-world architectural elements with a sophisticated materials and color palette, while maintaining a sense of the brand’s strong Detroit roots to this restaurant interior design concept.

Working closely with the client, Gensler designed the restaurant using rich materials including lavish leathers, walnut panels, luxurious fabrics and custom dome lighting fixtures resulting in a truly unique and intimate dining experience.

Atto Primo – Shanghai, China

To meet Chinese consumers’ increasing appetite for fine dining experience options, the interior design concept of this new Shanghai restaurant integrates chef Gianluca Serafin’s deep connection to Italian culinary history with the context of the theater. “Atto primo” means first act; and the theme is deftly carried out through myriad details, from Venetian masks to engraved menu illustrations to stylish murals.

In collaboration with Guillaume Richard, Gensler interior design ideas are designed with two-level space and served as the Executive Architect. Inspired by the bordellos of Shanghai, the journey through the restaurant interior design concept is a movement through layers being slowly revealed.

The ground floor’s entry sequence features a long corridor, low ceilings, and luxurious baritone materials, including mahogany, stone, marble, and bronze. Downstairs, the atmosphere continues and shifts, as ceiling heights soar over the two distinctly different and equally enticing dining areas. The Alexander raises the bar when it comes to an authentic, guest-focused lodging experience. The Geen Leaf Niseko Village-Hokkaido, Japan

This 30-year-old resort required extensive renovations to bring it up-to-date and draw visitors. Working as the local architect, Gensler design firm supported the design efforts of New York-based Champalimaud from design development through construction administration. The bar hotel´s area was design to exhale simplicity without losing a sophisticated touch with sober colors and a distinguished bar stool.

The innovative incorporation of natural motifs and colors native to the island region of Hokkaido has transformed the Green Leaf Hotel into a stunning, world-class boutique hotel with an incredible interior design concept. Renovated areas include the lobby, bar lounge, ski valet, beer garden, restaurant, hot spring, spa, and guest rooms.

Harvest by Roy Ellamar is the Bellagio’s new culinary destination. For this farm-to-table restaurant, Gensler’s interior design concept centers on three elements: social interaction, craft, and comfort.

The community-driven experience begins with the open lounge at the front of the restaurant, where a layered wool wall extends to the public promenade, breaking down existing barriers. The lounge features an expanded mixologist bar and tables seating beneath hand-blown glass lighting fixtures providing a perfect bar decor ideas to inspire and enhance.

Le Méridien Chicago, Oakbrook Center-Oak Brook, Illinois

This previously unoccupied hotel has been transformed into a contemporary restaurant interior design concept, upscale property reflective of Le Méridien’s European flair. Outside, the two-dimensional surface of the building’s skin creates a three-dimensional volume that appears to be woven into an abstracted plaid, a nod to the area’s retail adjacencies.

The new lobby is light and elegant, with Bauhaus-inspired design features, modernist furnishings and artwork by local artists. Exuding the quality for which Le Méridien is known, the hotel features 172 guestrooms, two spa suites, a ballroom, lounge, and restaurant.

The contemporary and stylish interior design concept blends the latest in residential design with bold color, dramatic lighting and the embrace of true comfort. Subtle references to Abu Dhabi’s artisanal culture are presented through the incorporation of screens, natural materials, patterns and color palettes.

BH Kitchen & Bar: Brand Design – New York, New York

Family owned and operated in New York City since 1943, BH Kitchen & Bar enlisted Gensler design firm to redesign and rebrand their restaurant to attract a new generation of clientele.

Beginning with the renaming and refresh of the restaurant’s identity, Gensler utilized strategic brand interventions to enliven the space with playful character. Quotes emblazoned throughout the interior in neon lighting, white vinyl, and blackened steel reflect BH’s personality: “Savor the moment,” “I’m aware that I’m rare,” and more.

BH Kitchen & Bar: Brand Design – New York, New York

Graffiti art by a local artist adorns the rear wall, and custom 3D-printed “burger people” figurines dot the dining, takeout, and restroom areas. As a final touch, the team designed a complete suite of updated menus and print collateral.
